How Tramplin Points Work
This article explains the mechanics behind Tramplin’s points system and how it influences reward redistribution.
On Tramplin, points are not a speculative placeholder or a promise tied to a future token event. They are an incentive mechanism used directly in the redistribution logic from the moment they are issued. Points accumulate over time, feed into the multiplier, and ultimately affect how much weight a stake has during reward selection.
The system is designed to do two things:
- increase your effective stake in each redistribution cycle, and
- incentivize consistent, long-term participation.
Below, we break down how your weight in reward redistribution calculated, which parameters the system uses, and how points, multipliers, and effective stake work together.
Boosting your weight in reward redistribution
Your weight in each reward redistribution cycle is influenced by:
- The total amount of SOL staked on Tramplin during the given period
- The amount of SOL you have staked
- How long your SOL has remained staked
These factors are expressed through three core incentive parameters:
- Points
- Multiplier
- Effective stake
Together, they define the weight your stake carries in the redistribution mechanism.
The points
You receive 10 points for each 1 SOL staked every 1 epoch on Solana (2-3 days). All points accumulate over time, and are used to calculate your multiplier within the system.
The multiplier
Every Solana epoch (2-3 days) that your SOL remains staked, your multiplier grows and increases your effective stake within the redistribution system.
It is calculated using the following formula:
M = min(M_max, 1 + √(P / (S × K)))
Where:
- M is your current multiplier
- M_max is the maximum multiplier (set at x5)
- P is the total number of points you’ve accumulated
- S is your staked amount in SOL
- K is the price growth coefficient (set at 150)
What’s important, the multiplier is designed to grow independently of stake size. All participants can reach the same maximum multiplier of x5, which is achieved after approximately 1.5 years of continuous staking.
The effective stake
The effective stake reflects how much stake the system counts when randomly selecting reward recipients, based on your staked SOL and multiplier.
For example, if you stake 1 SOL for 30 days and reach x2 multiplier, Tramplin counts as if you had 2 SOL when selecting reward recipients through the randomized mechanism.
This means long-term stakers gain higher chances of receiving redistributions without having to increase their stake.
Referral mechanics
An additional way to increase your points and multiplier is by joining Tramplin’s referral program.
- Any user who has staked at least 1 SOL can invite others to Tramplin.
- Users who join via a referral link receive a x2 multiplier from the start.
- Referrers earn +3 points per staked SOL every epoch, for as long as the referred user remains staked.
This design rewards referrals that stay active, rather than one-off promotions or short-term activity.
To sum it up
On Tramplin, points are designed to be a transparent mechanism with real utility from day one.
By rewarding long-term participation rather than short-term behavior, Tramplin we aim to set a foundation for the incentive system that is fair and built to last.
